Offshore Wind Operations/Science Meets Industry 2014 will take place in Bergen on the 9th of September.

The conference Offshore Wind Operations/Science Meets Industry took place in Bergen on Tuesday the 10th of September. The yearly conference is a joint effort between NORCOWE and Arena NOW, whose directors Kristin Guldbrandsen Frøysa and Asle Lygre are pictured below.

The number of participants this year touched 90, with a high industry presence. Invited talks were, amongst others, given by Statoil, Siemens Wind Power, ETI, The Crown Estate and NVE. Pictured below is Nils Henrik Johnson from NVE. This year's official media partner was Offshore Wind Industry.

Joachim Reuder from the University of Bergen/NORCOWE presented his RPAS/SUMO project: a small unmanned model aircraft used for meteorological measurements. The RPAS/SUMO could also be viewed at the stand in the mingling area, where the poster session was held.
